Nick Volsko is the Director, Corporate Partnerships for the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission (GCSC). Nick joined the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission in December 2013. In his role, he is responsible for increasing revenue for the organization through strategic corporate partnerships around specific events.
Prior to his current role, Nick was the Business Development Manager from 2011-2013 for the Manchester Monarchs Hockey Club (American Hockey League) in Manchester, New Hampshire. During his tenure the Corporate Partnerships department saw a growth of 20% and grew to feature prominent national brands. From 2008-2011 Nick worked for Columbus Crew SC (Major League Soccer) in Columbus, Ohio. He started in 2008 as a member of the Inside Sales Team and was quickly promoted to a fulltime Ticket Sales Executive. Nick was responsible for selling season and group tickets to corporate businesses in the community. His career in the Sports Industry began in 2007 as an Intern with the National Sports Forum followed by an internship with TeamWork Online.
Nick graduated from the University of Mount Union, located in Alliance, Ohio with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sport Business. He was a member of the Men’s Track and Field team and featured in the Javelin competition.
Nick resides in North Ridgeville, Ohio with his wife Anastasia, an Event Manager for the Cleveland Convention Center, and their son Brahm.
