Lauren M. Harris is an Event Manager for the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission. Lauren assists with the planning and execution of each event held at the Sports Commission and is the lead for the MAC Fan Fest as well as the Cleveland Classic.
In January of 2010, Lauren began her career at the Sports Commission as an Event Management intern. During this time period, Lauren assisted with the execution of numerous events, including the first annual MAC Fan Fest. Due to her success she was asked to continue at the Sports Commission as the Transportation Coordinator for the 2010 Continental Cup and World School Games. Her hard work and persistence has led her to become a full time member of the Sports Commission.
Lauren is a native of Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she received a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management and minor in Spanish. Lauren was the head student manager for the Temple Women’s Basketball Team for 4 years, where she had the opportunity to work under three-time Olympian, Dawn Staley. Lauren is currently an active member of WISE Cleveland.
Lauren resides in Cleveland Heights, Ohio with her family. She enjoys working out, playing basketball, attending Cleveland sporting events, traveling and spending time with her family.
